About West Side Community Health Services
Help serve the underserved! West Side Community Health Services (WSCHS), a nonprofit organization founded in 1972, is the largest community clinic organization in Minnesota. For over 35 years, the dedicated men and women of our staff have worked hard to achieve our mission - caring for the health of diverse communities. We seek compassionate, dedicated individuals who put their patients' needs first and are driven to help people gain access to affordable health care.
West Side Community Health Services has always been a visionary organization. With a progressive model of care that emphasizes education, prevention, and integrated services, our multilingual/multicultural expertise provides accessible health care to all of our diverse communities. We are proud to serve over 35,000 patients each year.
As healers we put people first, providing high-quality patient-focused health care that is evidence-based, reflects best practices, and respects the cultures of the patients we serve. As community advocates we are sought out as the community voice for Latino, Hmong, adolescent, and health care issues. We understand public health issues, partner with other organizations to address community needs, and advocate for public policy that helps people gain access to affordable health care and other needed services.
We serve the diverse St. Paul metro area community - particularly the Latino and Hmong populations, St. Paul public housing residents, people in the homeless population, and adolescents in a service area that includes a significant portion of the City of St. Paul and Ramsey County. As a multicultural/multilingual organization, candidates who are bilingual in Spanish/English or Hmong/English are encouraged to apply.
West Side Community Health Services offers attractive hours, no 7-day work week, and a competitive salary and benefit package. Benefit eligibility starts at 20 hours per week and includes generous benefits such as: health, dental, 403b with employer match, STD/LTD, basic life, paid time off, paid holidays, dependent and health care flex spending accounts, and more.
