As a Hmong speaking Member Service Representative for State Public Programs, you will provide accurate, timely responses, resolution to inquiries, and informal grievances from members, authorized parties, county/state representatives and other internal/external customers. The customer contact takes place via phone, written correspondence, web, fax, voice mail, or face-to-face contact and is imperative to member retention.
This position requires at least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center, health insurance (HMO preferred), physician group practice, or community agency. Proficient PC skills required knowledge of Microsoft office preferred. Working knowledge of medical claims and/or medical billing processes is preferred, along with knowledge of Amisys and MACESS type software packages.
High school graduate or the equivalent required. Two-year degree in health related or communication field, including a course in medical terminology is preferred.
