Ex-Im seeks to fill a Business Development Specialist (Export Finance Manager) position in its Small Business Group. The position is open for GS-1101-12/13 at a salary 74,872.00 to $115,742.00, depending on the grade/location. The Export Finance Manager will be researching, prospecting and indentifying opportunities, and present value-driven sales proposals, and close sales of Export-Import Bank financial products; Managing a portfolio of leads, screen them for qualification, identify export credit and finance needs, and proposed value-driven solutions; Orchestrating a wide and varied network of bankers, insurance brokers, City/State partners, trade associations, and U.S. government agencies bringing these to bear on serving clients and prospects for export credit and financial products. The candidate should have high comfort level which is necessary with point-of-perspective clients and representation at trade shows; advocating credit proposal with various programs, processes and cultures to exporters, trade associations, and intermediaries. The candidate is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
