Excellent Career Opportunity for a Professional Administrative Assistant. Our manufacturing client located in the western suburbs is in need of a Document Control Specialist. This Temporary-to-Hire position supports Project Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Purchasing. The Document Control Specialist will assist in managing and maintaining integrity of all technical and contract documents, integrate document systems between departments, provide technical support on maintaining project schedules, coordinate interdepartmental issues, monitor project costs, and manage vendor and customer submittals for Project Management in meeting customer requirements. The qualified candidate will have advanced communication and effective planning and organizational skills to balance the needs of multiple departments, the ability to set priorities, have strong follow- through and a high degree of accuracy and recall. Must have experience writing and editing procedural documentation and understand contract and financial documentation. Required: Advanced technical skills; MS Office suite, Database programs and MRP systems. Associates Degree in Business, 3-5 years previous experience required in similar position.
