Humera, formerly Dolphin Staffing, is looking for a Training Developer for a month long assignment at a major grocery retail and supply chain company located in Eden Prairie. This person will be responsible for analyzing learning needs and requirements for training initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the manager, curriculum development and subject matter expert to develop education objectives that meet specific learning needs
- Design and develop effective training materials based on learning requirements
- Conduct needs analysis and determines requirements for training initiatives
- Develop eLearning, Instructor led materials, or performance support tools as required to meet training objectives
- Meet with appropriate subject matter experts and research all topics and systems presented to ensure appropriate subject matter expertise
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to help training specialists learn new content.
- Evaluate deployed training materials and programs and perform continuous reviews of core training curriculum and make recommendations for changes
- Assist in management of training initiatives to include timelines and budgets
- Assist in the development of surveys for analysis and evaluation
- Provide ongoing mentoring to team members
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results
- Work efficiently in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface at all levels
- Must be organized and process excellent work management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
- Expert working knowledge of technical and non-technical training media
- Familiarity with online help, eLearning, and screen usability a plus
