Job Description:
Humera, formerly Dolphin Staffing, is looking for a Training Developer for a month long assignment at a major grocery retail and supply chain company located in Eden Prairie. This person will be responsible for analyzing learning needs and requirements for training initiatives.
  • Work with the manager, curriculum development and subject matter expert to develop education objectives that meet specific learning needs
  • Design and develop effective training materials based on learning requirements
  • Conduct needs analysis and determines requirements for training initiatives
  • Develop eLearning, Instructor led materials, or performance support tools as required to meet training objectives
  • Meet with appropriate subject matter experts and research all topics and systems presented to ensure appropriate subject matter expertise
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to help training specialists learn new content.
  • Evaluate deployed training materials and programs and perform continuous reviews of core training curriculum and make recommendations for changes
  • Assist in management of training initiatives to include timelines and budgets
  • Assist in the development of surveys for analysis and evaluation
  • Provide ongoing mentoring to team members

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results
  • Work efficiently in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface at all levels
  • Must be organized and process excellent work management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Expert working knowledge of technical and non-technical training media
  • Familiarity with online help, eLearning, and screen usability a plus
