The Walser Automotive Group is searching for a detail oriented Funding Specialist. As a Funding Specialist, you will prepare, process, ship, and follow up on deal paperwork.The Walser Automotive Group is searching for a detail oriented Funding Specialist. As a Funding Specialist, you will prepare, process, ship, and follow up on deal paperwork.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
FS Activities prior to Sale:
- Pull Credit
- Screen customer against OFAC list for finance and cash buyers
- Obtain out of state titling/tax info as needed
- Load deal in R&R or check sales departments accuracy
- Locate trade title/ensure proper signatures & lien release information
- Verify payoff information
- Calculate debt to income
- Verify equipment/miles on vehicle to guarantee proper book out
- Book out vehicle/locate invoice
- Print all documents for CEM
- Turn all documents over to CEM for final review and presentation
FS Activities After the Sale:
- Manage contracts in transit to ensure proper cash flow
- Process RDR for all new vehicles on a daily basis
- Seek out missing titles from past vehicles traded in
- Assist with collection on bounced checks written to dealership
- Collection of lender stipulations including but not limited to: proof of income, proof of residence, proof previous loan paid off, copy of divorce decree, proof of paid judgment.
- Assist in collection of manufacturer rebates
- Obtain gift letter as needed
- Obtain death certificate as needed
- Monitor inventory forms levels, (State, WAG, product, credit applications) order new ones when necessary
- Fax and mail Equity Drivers sold
- Print recap for each deal
- Print invoice for each deal
- Photocopy all forms for bank for each finance deal
- Break down forms and package deals for banks with all stipulations
- Print FedEx labels and deliver packages to delivery area
- Submit unapproved applications to credit center as necessary
- Manage Dead Deal file for mandatory compliance
- Send out Adverse Action letters to all customers who applied for credit and didn’t receive what they applied for
- Maintain an adequate and current supply of all required contracts and paperwork needed for completion and finalization of car deals
- Prepare reports on finance penetration as requested
Hours:
Monday 7:30am-4:00pm
Tuesday 7:30am-4:00pm
Wednesday 12:30-9:00pm
Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm
Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Saturdays – You will work Saturdays on a rotating basis
Flexibility is essential as you may work more weeknights if incentive-end and/or month-end happens to fall on a night other than Wednesday (your regular closing night).
Compensation:
$30,000-40,000 annually DOE
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence and good driving record
- Must have excellent computer skills (Intermediate to Advanced MS Office, including Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service mentality. 2+ years prior customer service experience
- High aptitude for manipulating numbers along with an eye for detail
- Must work well under pressure and be an efficient multi-tasker
- History of promptness and reliability required
- Ideal candidate will have a friendly up-beat attitude and be a team player
