We currently have an opportunity for a Client Service Consultant in our Major & National Sales Department. This position is responsible for supporting the retention and growth of assigned account manager’s book of business on a profitable basis. They will provide a high level of customer service, problem solving and reporting analysis for all major and national accounts. This position also provides leadership in the development of the renewal process for assigned back up accounts. They serve as the central resource person for communications between HealthPartners employer groups and consultants. This position is accountable for group open enrollment presentations and daily servicing function in a manner that will result in meeting the Major and National Account targets and forecasts for all accounts.

Required Qualifications:
• College degree
• Sales/account management experience in the health care industry.
• Minnesota insurance license within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrated group presentation, negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project assignments.
• Ability to work effectively at all levels within an organization.
• Demonstrated capacity for working in a fast paced setting.
• Proficiency with computer software and contact tracking programs.
• Execution of a non-competition agreement upon hire.
• Strong business background, advanced courses in business, marketing or finance preferred
• Knowledge of basic insurance underwriting principles preferred

• Provide excellent customer service support for Major and National Accounts.
• Retain, grow, and establish relationships with assigned account manager’s book of business accounts.
• Assist in the development and execution of strategies for back up accounts.
• Overall responsibility for renewals and subsequent open enrollment on all Major and National accounts.
• Assist with all service aspects of all Major and National accounts including: financial analysis executive summaries for employer reports; claims analysis; performance guarantees for all accounts; contracts; reports; and plan design development.
• Develop and maintain relationships and interact with the service consultants at consulting firms and benefits level personnel at employer groups.
• Execute established service protocols for all accounts.
• Develop and manage partnerships with internal departments including, but limited to, member services, underwriting, billing, and product management to meet employer group needs.
• Support the Managers, Account Managers and Account Representatives on needed administrative issues, e.g. mailings, correspondence, and other serve related items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
