Whitebox Advisors, LLC has an opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator at our facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The primary duty of the Marketing Coordinator is to plan and implement Whitebox-sponsored public relations events and investment marketing relations. This position will promote and create good will for the Company by writing and selecting favorable publicity material and releasing it through appropriate communications media. The position requires a Master's Degree or equivalent in Communication, Business, Public Relations, or related field, plus two (2) years of related experience. Experience must include two (2) years experience, which may be concurrent, in all of the following: 1) negotiating and maintaining international contracts; 2) customer relations and development efforts, including the resolution of issues and disputes; and 3) analyzing information received from financial institutions and developing investor/customer communications. Must have demonstrated ability in developing and coordinating strategic events, including serving as event coordinator for business seminars. This position requires travel (domestic and international) approximately 25% of the time. All experience may be gained concurrently and may have been gained before, during or after completion of the Master's Degree program.
