Top Career Solutions has an immediate opening for an Electrical Controls Engineer to work in Fergus Falls, MN.
The controls engineer will provide support and lead new product development and custom application projects as well as develop electronic control solutions using current technology that meet market and/or customer requirements. The position will assist and lead troubleshooting efforts performing service-related tasks to support products in the field.
Essential requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 3 years related experience or a two-year post high school diploma/certificate in mechanical or electrical design/drafting and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience
· AUTOCAD proficient
· Demonstrated programming skills using PLC’s, HMI’s and servo motion control software
· Microsoft office proficient
· Demonstrated effective verbal skills
Desired qualifications:
· Experience preparing engineering documentation
· C and C++ programming experience
· Visual basic programming experience
· Professional Engineering Registration
· Knowledgeable in PACK ML procedures
