Contracted Services Manager

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD is currently accepting application for a Contracted Services Manager. The Contracted Services Manager manages a self-insurance equipment service program for the BioMedical & Technical Services department in the Sioux Falls Region. The scope of this program involves equipment items across the entire Sioux Falls Region, located at Sanford Medical Center, clinics, and other regional facilities. This individual is required to provide service contract analysis for imaging, laboratory, and other high end medical equipment systems, with the goal of eliminating service contracts wherever possible and economically beneficial. This analysis is financial and technical, requiring this individual to be knowledgeable about the technical aspects of a wide range of imaging and laboratory and other medical equipment. The best service option maximizing uptime and financial return must be chosen. This individual will be required to negotiate with and obtain the best possible labor rates and parts prices.

Preference given to applicants who have a Bachelors of Science in Business. Candidates without a Business degree may be asked to obtain one over time. Certification Commission as a CBET, or a CLES, or a CRES is a plus. An Associate's degree or equivalent in Biomedical Technology is required or the equivalent in experience is acceptable. Significant training in imaging or laboratory equipment is preferred.
