Cambridge Medical Center, located in Cambridge, Minn., just north of the Twin Cities metro area, is a large multi-specialty clinic and a 57-bed hospital on one campus. Cambridge Medical Center has 900 employees and 50 physicians. Dedicated to providing patient-centered care in an atmosphere that promotes healing and comfort, Cambridge Medical Center provides services to more than 136,000 inpatients and outpatients each year.
Responsibilities
- Specimen processing, test analysis, Q.C., equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in hematology, blood banking, chemistry, and microbiology
- Must be able to produce quality results, recognize and correct situations that compromise results
- Must demonstrate dependability, independence, and use of technical knowledge
- Multi-tasking is a must, as this person will work as a generalist in the lab
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- MLT with ASCP certification or eligible
- Experience preferred
- New grads can apply
Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Maintains confidential patient information
- Attention to detail
- Able to prioritize, organize, and produce accurate laboratory results
- Must be able to function as part of a lab team and be a positive contributor to the laboratory
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
- Part Time, 20 hours per week
- Day/Evening shift
- Every 3rd weekend
- Non Contract
