Director, Human Resources
St. Cloud, Minnesota
Reporting to the Vice President Human Resources, this key leadership position is responsible for the development and direction of people activities for our US operations. The Direct HR will lead the US Human Resources teams responsible for the day to day activities of employee and labour relations, training and development, safety and health, recruitment and selection, and payroll and benefits administration with emphasis on communication, organizational effectiveness support of the company's Great Place to Work strategy.
As a member of the Leadership Team, this role will develop and implement policies, programs and procedures to improve the effectiveness of the Human Resources function within the organization and will assist the Vice President, Human Resources in the development and implementation of strategy and initiatives designed to support the organizational business strategy. Will guide and support the Leadership Team to facilitate standardization and integration of human resource practices and procedures throughout all company locations.
The successful candidate requires at least 10 years progressive human resources experience that covers a wide range of HR functions, with more than five years at senior management level in a multi-location environment. Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of human resources activities, both operations and analysis.
"Previous experience working in a complex business environment and understands how to effectively manage/balance cultural and organizational dynamics.
"The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
HR designation would be an asset.
The successful candidate will work as a strategic business partner and change agent and must possess superior interpersonal and communication skills including ability to work in a team environment. Strong ability to influence and coach employees and leaders.
