Job Description:

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree program in Nursing. Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota. CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers required.

Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family member and co-workers.

The Cardiac Medicine unit consists of patients with chest pain, coronary artery disease, COPD, pneumonia and other cardio-respiratory problems along with End Stage Renal Disease. This unit has a high volume of daily admissions and discharges.

Additional Information:

At least one year of RN experience working in acute care or a med/surg unit in a hospital setting.
