The Nursing Station Attendant position is responsible for assisting with patient care, performing receptionist duties on the station, and maintaining patient care areas. To include: perform cleanup of OR, PAR and Anesthesia, readies OR for next patient, properly cares for equipment and takes action for preventative maintenance, transports specimens, transports dirty case carts to decontamination area and stocks rooms with patient care supplies and other supplies as needed.
Qualifications
Position requires: 1-2 years experience working in a health care setting, customer service experience and BLS certification. Must have experience working with computer applications (e.g. WORD, EPIC, hospital specific software applications) and telephone usage.
Prefer: Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program or health unit coordinator program and experience in patient care, as a HUC and/or working with providers.
