Position Purpose: The Central Facilities Management (CFM) team is a shared services function for the fulfillment of our building services needs (Repair, Maintenance, Janitorial, Security, HVAC, etc.) for the 7800 U.S. salons within the Regis family. This position supervises the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide department leadership and direction working closely with VP, staff and outsource providers.
  • Manage outsource partners, both on the technology and service provider sides
  • Build relationships with Operations with strong partnership and communication
  • Utilize peer network relationships to keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions
  • Serve as main point of contact for Operations Coordinators and Field Staff on critical or reoccurring facility issues from the field locations serving as the liaison between Regis and the Supplier to resolve issues and service field
  • Work with all levels of Operations to understand the category and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Supplier relationship management to include; actively monitor supplier activity and performance against Service Level Agreements, conduct regularly scheduled audits and reviews (with higher frequency during implementation phase) to ensure controls, business rules and processes are being adhered to and delivering required results and ensure supplier(s) are delivering all reports and data required to manage and report on program
  • Proactively manage supplier(s) by reviewing spending patterns and cycles to identify new savings or efficiency opportunities consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source, risk to the business and urgency of need
  • Develop working knowledge of cost drivers and associated market conditions within Central Facilities Services areas to support future sourcing, contracting and program development for Regis
  • Recommend new processes or approaches to support efficient and effective program operations and field satisfaction
  • Provide support to Department Director/VP through research, spreadsheet preparation, analysis work and other project tasks
  • Update, maintain and develop needed department databases, contracts, files, etc. related to category services and/or suppliers
  • Manage salon budgets by coaching Field Staff on cost-effective scheduling of services and repairs
  • Actively obtain most cost effective supplier for repair, obtain and compare quotes from qualifying vendors and negotiate repair cost with qualified vendor
  • Understand, utilize and become an expert on Regis systems to create reports used to analyze cost drivers for each program and proactively identify cost increases or decreases and provide backup
  • Supervise the team of CFM Coordinators for superior department organization and function

Requirements:

  • 4 year college Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of professional experience, including management and supervisory skills
  • Must have supervised a staff of Facilities professionals
  • Strong organization skills
  • Solid understanding of service program management and tactical support work
  • Strong customer service, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Research and trend/data analysis capabilities
  • Ability to build/maintain relationships
  • Ability to analyze cost, performance and metric data for value leveling of quality of service and cost structures
