The Windows Support Engineer is responsible for system implementation and management on Microsoft Windows platforms including Active Directory, system configuration, troubleshooting, security, resource monitoring, and maintaining vendor software.
Position Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade Domain Controllers
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade Servers
- Physical to Virtual migrations
- Scripting Server Deployments
- Maintain user profiles
- Evaluates system performance and reports to management
- Defines development tools and procedures for daily operational support
- Assists with software product evaluation, including installation, testing, and technical assistance
- Assists in monitoring and reporting system performance
- Develops and maintains system problem analysis and resolution techniques
- Analyzes and resolves system and user problems quickly and efficiently
- Fulfills departmental requirements in terms of providing work coverage and administrative notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation, or education

Requirements
- MCITP or 3 years equivalent experience
- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
