Job Description:
The Exercise Physiologist will be responsible for obtaining diagnostic information used to evaluate patients for heart disease by assisting in providing various non-invasive cardiac tests. This position performs and documents dependent functions such as carrying out the physician’s medical orders; providing a safe and therapeutic environment; coordinating, communicating, interpreting, and explaining patient care services to the patient, his/her family, health professionals and important others. Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. Master’s degree preferred. Previous clinical experience preferred. BCLS certified.
ACLS certified. Certified Exercise Specialist by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.
