The Senior Engineer position functions as a staff professional in one or more of a broad spectrum of IT disciplines including but not limited to; design, build, configuration, installation, integration, and creation of new or broadly expanded information technology hardware, software, data bases, security, applications, and services. This position designs, tests and delivers new information technology to meet specifications and complies with standards and methodologies associated to specific disciplines. Provides tuning, re-engineering, and performance monitoring for more complex technology solutions and services. Provides support for service disruptions, project associated needs, continuous service improvement, and develops documentation relevant to ensure customer service and business continuity objectives are achieved. Mentors and trains less experienced team members.
Senior Level network engineer knowledge of all data networking industry standards, trends, and VoIP technology; experience working in an Enterprise, multi-vendor infrastructure, Avaya/Nortel and Cisco.

Minimum qualifications for Senior Engineer: Bachelors Degree or 4 years directly applicable experience or any combination of post-secondary education and directly applicable experience totaling 4 years, plus 5 years of relevant IS support (and knowledge of multiple complex business applications) required. This is an exempt position.
