An Office Manager is responsible for running the accounting aspects of a dealership as well as being a team leader and maintaining standards of the dealership
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Coordinates activities of clerical personnel in the dealership
- Prepares daily bank deposit and daily cash report
- Sets up fixed asset and prepaid asset accounts
- Assist with Morries Automotive Group’s standardization of dealership accounting and accounting processes
- Ensure timely completion of all financial statements, monthly work papers and reports, and resolve any issues.
- Finalize deals
- Maintain internal controls to insure compliance with company policies and to safeguard the dealership’s assets.
- Insure that the accounting records are maintained in an orderly, current and accurate condition at all times
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or related field required
- Automotive dealership experience is required
- Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
- High degree of professionalism
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
