An Office Manager is responsible for running the accounting aspects of a dealership as well as being a team leader and maintaining standards of the dealership

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Coordinates activities of clerical personnel in the dealership
  • Prepares daily bank deposit and daily cash report
  • Sets up fixed asset and prepaid asset accounts
  • Assist with Morries Automotive Group’s standardization of dealership accounting and accounting processes
  • Ensure timely completion of all financial statements, monthly work papers and reports, and resolve any issues.
  • Finalize deals
  • Maintain internal controls to insure compliance with company policies and to safeguard the dealership’s assets.
  • Insure that the accounting records are maintained in an orderly, current and accurate condition at all times


  • Degree in Accounting or related field required
  • Automotive dealership experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
