Minnesota School of Cosmetology, Plymouth campus, seeks an individual interested in becoming a part time Front Desk Assistant. This position ensures the smooth operation of the school by providing service to clients during school visits, encouraging the sale of retail products and services to clients and teaching students how to utilize Millennium Software.

Ideal candidates are patient, well-prepared and passionate about their discipline and have a desire to contribute to the training of our next generation of professionals. We operate on a clock-hour schedule. This position is ideal for working professionals who wish to add a second source of income as well as for career instructors/trainers.


· Minimum 3 years of previous reception, salon, or customer service experience

· Experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) a must

· Multi-line phone system experience a must

· Must be energetic, friendly, organized, patient, and have a caring and compassionate desire to work with students

· Previous experience with salon software preferred

· Cosmetology, manicurist, or esthetician license a plus

· Must be flexible with hours

Earned degrees must be awarded by a postsecondary institution accredited by an accreditation agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. Credentials earned at a foreign institution must be from an institution recognized by the respective government and will be evaluated for equivalency to U.S. degrees.
