Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a resource to staff through coordinating interpreters while accounting for cultural factors that affect the patient care experience. Employees will follow the defined guidelines and processes of the department while remaining flexible in their daily duties and applying creative and well-informed problem solving skills when necessary. Employees will provide support to the organization ensuring quality service through timely and courteous assistance and provide service support to patients who request our care. Strong verbal and written communication, human relations sensitivity and customer service skills, listening and telephone etiquette skills, medical terminology knowledge desirable, accurate computer/keyboarding skills required, comfort in asking patients? language preference, ability to promote and maintain good patient relations and patient confidentiality, demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
