Temporary-To-Hire Warehouse Clerk Job

ASAP temporary-to-hire warehouse clerk needed! A smaller company located in Chanhassen is looking for a reliable, flexible warehouse clerk to work as an integral part of the team. There is a seasonal demand for the product, so the ability to work overtime during summer months is required, however less hours may be needed during winter months. On a temporary basis the pay rate is $12 per hour. On a permanent basis, the position is salaried ($24,960) which allows pay to remain consistent throughout the year.
Responsibilities:

*Palletize product by operating forklift

*Lift product using team-lift method; must be able to frequently lift up to 90 pounds

*Perform picking and packing

*Attend local deliveries; once hired permanently, drive company truck to deliver product

*Assembly product and perform installation

*Help out however needed with cleaning and organizing warehouse

Requirements

*Flexible schedule to accommodate 20-30 hrs/week in winter months or 50+ hrs/week in summer months

*Must have a clean driving record

*Ability to lift 90+ pounds frequently

*Must be comfortable with warehouse cleaning duties

*Mechanical inclination required

*Forklift experience preferred

*Flexibility to take on new and different responsibilities as needed

*Must be comfortable accepted a permanent position that does not offer benefits
HOURS: Regular business hours (OT likely during summer months)
