Temp to HIRE Medical Assistant Opportunity!
The medical assistant will assist the doctor exam the patients and administer medication in a dermatology clinic.
The MA will record the vital signs of a patient, as well as create a medical record, perform some laboratory tests in the clinic, and authorize prescriptions.
The MA will also be responsible for relaying information about medication and dietary needs to patients.
The MA will also be responsible for some front office duties such as:
Insurance verification and processing, billing, scheduling, patient admissions, answering phones, and updating medical records.
Required:
1 year Medical Assistant
Patient Scheduling and EMR
CPR
Preferred:
Medical Assistant Certification
Clinic Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:45am to 5pm
Wednesday 7:45am to 7pm
One Saturday per month
