AS the Senior Programmer/Analyst you will analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. Work with systems based on Microsoft Visual Studio.net, including Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, UNIX, COBOL, Microsoft SQL Server including stored procedures, SSIS, Crystal Reports, client server systems including n-tier systems. Position based in Minneapolis headquarters.
Position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related, plus at least 3 years of progressively complex systems analysis experience in an IS environment, in a healthcare environment, working with Microsoft Visual Studio.net, ASP.net, Oracle 9i/10g/11g, PL/SQL, Crystal Reports, stored procedures and client server systems including knowledge of n-tier systems. In lieu of a Master's degree plus at least 3 years of experience, a qualified candidate may have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of post-Bachelor's experience. All experience may be gained concurrently.
