Job Summary:
Under direct supervision This position will assist Maintenance personnel in machine troubleshooting, machine repair and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Employees are expected to support the quality concepts inherent in the business philosophies of Lake Region Manufacturing, Inc., including a variety of job related tasks which may not be specific to this position profile.
Accountabilities include:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment
- Repair basic mechanical problems with production equipment
- Assist maintenance mechanics with equipment
- Clean up of disassembled machinery
- Shovel snow and other outside duties
- Help with the moving of equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- High School degree, or equivalent
- Must have physical ability to do lifting, ladder climbing, and moving full barrels of liquid
- Will be required to change hours, work overtime, weekends, and some evenings
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Will be required to work in confidential areas with confidential information
- Must have basic electrical knowledge
