Poised to take advantage of an internationally renowned faculty and a vast reservoir of executive talent among the numerous Fortune 500 firms headquartered in the region, Carlson Executive Education designs and delivers custom educational programs for senior managers and leadership around the country and internationally.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, the candidate selected for this exciting opportunity will be responsible for strategic planning; business development; marketing and sales; open enrollment program design and delivery; custom program assessment, design, delivery and evaluation; faculty services; staff supervision; and financial management to ensure both effective operations and an appropriate financial contribution to the school.
Required qualifications: A master’s degree and a minimum of six years of senior level leadership experience. The candidate should have strong leadership ability, sound budget and fiscal skills, knowledge of selling and marketing educational programs, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and excellent relationship-building skills.
Preferred qualifications include five or more years of academic program leadership and a commitment to the values of educational excellence. Prior experience in designing, marketing, and managing executive education programs in a business context is desirable. The candidate should have an understanding of the challenges facing a large public university. Compensation will be competitive.
