The Export Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue in the international markets; planning strategies for each country to achieve maximum distribution and sales; researching new overseas markets, identifying new accounts and developing business; maintaining and delivering existing and new customers through planned individual account support; develop marketing strategies as needed to help drive sales; and track and report international sales.
The successful candidate will have a BA degree in business, education or related field, plus 5+ yrs of international sales experience either in publishing and/or digital media. Experience working with International distributor and agent partners would be highly beneficial. Must have the ability to collaborate as well as be an independent contributor; exceptional negotiating skills; must have a high level of initiative and self-motivation; ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines; excellent communication and presentation skills; must be able to travel (overnight and overseas) up to 50% of time; must be self-directed; and have the ability to thrive in a fast-pace, entrepreneurial environment.
