Clinical Development Spec

This individual works within the nursing clinical areas to direct and/or participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation of orientation, training and continuous development of new and existing staff (Nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel). Incorporates existing and new practice, quality, safety and regulatory standards that align with the organizational/unit culture and goals while assuring competent successful socialization and competent clinicians.   

BA or BS Nursing Degree is required. MA/MS in Nursing or Education preferred. MN Nursing License and CPR certification required and Staff Development Certification preferred. Applicant must have 3-5 years experience working within a speciality area, and experience with teaching others preferred. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt well to new technology/computers and must have excellent problem solving skills.
