Ultrasound Technologist

Provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the age of the patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards of practice and patient care, supplies and equipment and for coordinating team work with all members of the health care team.

Two years experience preferred.

Flexible to fill in for vacations, illness, LOA's or as needed. Must work 3 open shifts per month unless not needed. Ability to work overnights, weekends, or days preferred. 


Qualifications

Graduate from a school of Ultrasound. Current certification as a ARDMS. Must be registered by the ARDMS. Must maintain compliance with continuing education requirements set forth by the ARDMS.

Knowledgeable and competent in Abd, OB/GYN, Vascular, ABI's, Small parts, Biopsies, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis exams and procedures.

2 years Ultrasound Tech experience preferred.

Current BLS Certification with American Heart or American Red Cross as a health care provider required.
