Job Summary
The University of St. Thomas, Gainey Conference Center located in Owatonna Minnesota seeks an Administrative Assistant II.
This position is a part-time, benefit eligible position working 25 hours per week. Daytime hours with occasional evenings and weekends.
This position provides administrative support for the Center; provides guest services support including details of banquet event orders, coordinating logistics, serves as event contact. Coordinates and provides tours of the property; provides sales support by preparing sales materials and reservation contracts, logistic communication with conference services, and preparing reports as requested.
Qualifications
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of administrative experience with an emphasis in communications and direct customer service preferred.
We are looking for candidates with a proficiency in social media; competency with computer and web applications; excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong understanding of Microsoft Office systems; strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus; aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail; professional and pleasant manner; ability to work on several projects simultaneously, balance priorities, and meet deadlines; ability to maintain confidentiality.
