Postion Summary:
The Staff Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care to adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. An occupational therapist uses a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore injured or disabled patients to maximum functional ability and independence. Also performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM Qualifications:

Education:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in occupational therapy.

Experience:

None required

Knowledge, Skills

& Abilities:

Strong therapeutic skills and knowledge of current occupational therapy treatment techniques.

Ability to work 2 weekend shifts per month when working in Per Diem OT – Weekend job title.

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an occupational therapist; certification with the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.

Additional Information:

Day/ evening hours, weekdays and weekends working on inpatient mental health units.
