Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg Oncology

The Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the professional Nurse in the delivery of patient care, transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms and reordering and stocking of supplies. The Nursing Assistant works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service and effective communication with patients, families and the health care team. This individual will also be able to effectively prioritize in order to meet the needs of the patients on a busy medical and oncology unit. 


Qualifications

Current BLS certification with American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross as a Health Care Provider required. Minimum Licensure/Certification/Registration- MN NA Registry. Hospital CNA experience preferred.
