PRODUCT TESTING ADMINISTRATOR – Baby products
Baby Products Testing Administrator to execute Trend Lab’s testing program during each stage of product design, specification, sourcing, and sampling including construction, pre-production, and production. Product compliance with regulatory requirements including maintaining appropriate documented proof of compliance is the key responsibility.
Candidate must have 2-5 years of product testing experience of children’s products such as bedding, apparel, gifts, toys or furniture. Work experience must include working with the requirements of CPSIA / CPSC / ASTM required. Prevention of incident by identifying how to reduce or eliminate product risks is critical. Knowledge of international or key account product safety standards is a plus.
Daily work includes communicating with 3rd party testing labs on quote requests, verification, and approval; along with coordinating submission of product samples for testing, requesting appropriate tests, and reviewing and evaluating test reports. Will maintain company files including the administration of the testing program documentation and processes used. Will execute best practices for product testing and safety including identification of testing intervals and sample size. Will also manage labeling compliance including law, care, brand, and packaging label use. Will create and provide GCC’s as needed. Will communicate to factories regarding expectations and their compliance in exceeding our quality and safety requirements.
Full-time position in Burnsville reports to Product Technical and Safety Manager.
