Patient Placement Manager

This position will be responsible for process from request for bed, to bed assigned and ending when patient in bed for all admissions (elective and emergent) and transfers, in accordance with clinical standards and guidelines. This position is accountable for timely, safe, appropriate, seamless patient admissions. Responsible working collaboratively with key departments and unit charge RN's to ensure patient flow  is operating effectively and smoothly. As well as other duties as directed by the manager of Staffing/Scheduling/Patient Placement. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with physicians to ensure appropriate placement/admission of patients




Minimum of a BA/BS in Nursing or related field, preferred Masters in Nursing or related field.


Experience Minimum level of experience needed to perform this job, if any?

Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as an RN and previous operations management experience preferred
