Scheduling Coordinator

The Scheduling Coordinator performs a wide range of receptionist/central scheduler and registrar duties for the Fairview Pain Management Center.   Duties include, but are not limited to, receiving orders from referring provider offices, scheduling patients for appropriate procedures and consultations, registering patients for out-patient visits, medical record maintenance and coordination of communication within the clinic. Multiple phone calls need to be fielded.   

The ideal candidate will be a mature individual who has excellent computer skills. some previous experience in a clinic setting or as a scheduler is preferred. This person must have excellent oral and written communication skills. The person in this position must have excellent customer service skills as well. At least three years of work experience in a similar field and/or some college is desired


Knowledge of medical terminology and/or medical assistant is preferred.
