Presbyterian Homes & Services - Lake Minnetonka Shores Care Center is seeking Resident Assistants to join its long-term care and short-term care teams.  We are seeking Resident Assistants who wish to be a part of a care team that can adapt its priorities and work routines to support personal preferences of residents.

 

Current opportunities include:

  • .2 night shift (15 hours pp) every other weekend TCU (10pm-6am)--premium pay applies (15.50/hour)
  • .8 Evening shift (60 hours pp)  2pm-10pm
  • .2 day shift (15 hours pp) every other weekend LTC (6am-2pm)--premium pay applies (15.50/hour)
  • .2 Evening shift (15 hours pp) every other weekend LTC (2pm-10pm)--premium pay applies (15.50/hour)
These positions includes working every other weekend and scheduled holidays.

Responsibilities: The Resident Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality personal care and services to residents to support the Personally Designed Living choices of residents, while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification in state(s) in which he/she practices OR successful completion of a home health aide instruction course and successful completion of home health aide competency testing to work in Home Care.
  • Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
