Applied Products is one of the largest adhesives companies in the U.S.  We have an immediate opening for an experienced Customer Service Specialist in our Minnetonka location.

Responsibilities Include: Accept and process customer orders.  Provide future order forecasting.  Act as communication liaison between all departments and warehouses on behalf of the customer and his/her needs.    Receive and respond to written and verbal customer service inquiries including product recommendations, pricing, technical advice, and application assistance.  Process documents to ensure customer satisfaction in the order fulfillment process. 

Qualifications:  Ideal candidate has Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Candidate must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills; be highly organized; proactive; and work well independently and as part of a team.  Must possess keyboarding skills and be proficient with MS Office.  Experience with contact management and enterprise applications a plus.  Must be able to effectively build relationships with new customers as well as maintain and continue existing relationships.  Experience in a distribution or manufacturing organization a plus.
