RN-Acute Rehab

This Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patients. The RN is responsible in accordance with all policy, procedure and professional practice guidelines. Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team through strong communication and documentation skills.

Physical Demands:  Sitting, standing, walking, lifting above shoulders/waist level/below knees- max. 35lbs, push/pull- max. 35lbs, carrying- max. 35lbs, balance, stooping/crouching, grasping/writing, finger dexterity/keyboarding, reaching below shoulders, reaching above shoulders, reaching across, rotation standing, bending at waist >45°. 

Mental Demands: Frequent people contact, irregular work schedule, supervisory skills, detailed work, frequent interruptions, decision making skills, concentration, ability to work independent, multiple concurrent tasks, frequent deadlines, organizational skills, ability to work with others.   


Qualifications
AD RN required, BSN preferred. Current BLS required

One year med/surg or other hospital RN experience required, acute inpatient rehab experience preferred. Nurses are required to complete Rehab Nursing Certification (CRRN) and FIM training within 24 months.
