Assistant Coordinator for Music Organizations and Marketing
Luther College is currently accepting applications for a 10-month, 40-hours per week Assistant Coordinator of Music Organizations and Marketing. Responsibilities include: plan, coordinate, and lead ensemble tours; develop and execute promotional strategies for tours; assist in marketing Luther’s music program through the promotion of music recordings; maintain the Music at Luther website; assist with general marketing duties. Qualifications include: proven self-starter with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently; strong oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills; proven attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills; and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Position reports to the Coordinator for Music Organizations and Marketing.
A college degree is required. A background in music is preferred, as is marketing and management experience. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft programs necessary; website design experience is preferred. Applicants must be a self-starter and have the ability to work with little or no supervision. Candidates must have strong oral and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as the willingness and ability to travel.
