Humera Administrative and Professional Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant for our client, a medical device reprocessing company, located in Maple Grove! This is a short term, contracted assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruiting and new hire process by:
- Posting open positions
- Tracking open positions in Excel
- Tracking applicant data
- Assisting with screening resumes
- Scheduling interviews
- Updating, ordering and assembling welcome packets
- Assembling new hire packets
- Drafting offer letters
- Submitting IT tickets
- Issuing time badges
- Assist with benefits entry into vendor systems (BCBS, Delta, COBRA etc), assemble benefit packets and ordering forms from vendors
- Assist with completion of employment verifications and unemployment claims within 24-36 hours
- Draft change letters
- Maintain employee files and filing system
- Complete special project assignments
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Degree in human resources preferred
- 2-3 years of administrative HR experience
- Proficiency is MS Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in ADP is desired
