Waisman Biomanufacturing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (www.GMPBio.org) is a world-recognized leader in the development and cGMP manufacturing of cell and gene therapeutics for early-stage human clinical trials. Waisman Biomanufacturing has the following position available:
Quality Control Specialist
This position will be responsible for performing analytical assays and data processing for testing raw materials, in-process materials and final manufactured products including gene therapies, cell therapies, recombinant proteins, and vaccines. The candidate will work closely with QC and Manufacturing personnel to perform and develop assays and effectively organize and prioritize duties to ensure that project timelines are met. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work individually and with a team are required. The candidate must have a BS in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, immunology, bacteriology, virology or related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Prior cGMP experience is preferred.
