Unity Hospital, located in Fridley, Minn. serves the northern metropolitan communities with a full continuum of care and services and is known for its expertise in bariatrics and obstetrical care. For more than 40 years, Unity has been dedicated to providing care to nearly 250,000 households in more than 26 neighboring communities. With 1,500 employees and 221 staffed beds, Unity provides inpatient and outpatient services to more than 107,000 patients each year. More than 635 affiliated specialists serve the patients of Unity Hospital.
Responsibilities
Responsible for building employee schedules for defined departments, as well as appropriately process employee timecards based on their hours. Facilitate timely and efficient placement processes that result in patients being admitted to appropriate patient care units. Attain staffing levels and skill mix as requested by patient census and acuity for all areas served. Utilize an electronic system for daily staffing needs.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience in developing employee schedules and timecards required
- Previous hospital and customer service experience required
Skills:
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a high paced environment
- Experience with Kronos Workforce Scheduler preferred
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
- *Temporary* Part Time Position (24 Hours/Week)
