We are looking for a Quality Engineer to provide documented statistical / technical Quality direction / support for new projects, existing products, inspection, and testing to ensure we meet customer requirements.
Essential Functions:
Establish, drive, and document results (internally and with the customer) (PPAP, DOE, GRR, IQ, OQ, PQ, FMEA CONTROL PLANS, etc.)
Identify, define, and verify (qualify) inspection equipment, methods, and procedures for implementation
Statistically troubleshoot part quality issues and provide recommendations to other departments
Define plan for measurement system qualification
Plan test schedules and strategies per project scope
Customer communication (to include timelines, action items, deviations, etc.)
Interpret inspection results to establish further development or reaction plans
Evaluate quality related software needs and implement as required
Review and evaluate (customer) documents to provide recommendations for possible updates and implementation of related actions
Other Duties:
Guide others to support and train to activities above and other related needs Participate in product reviews to provide input to current projects Assist in resolving CA/PA and NCR issues Qualifications, Education, Skills, and/or Experience
Required: CQE or 4 years equivalent experience
Strong problem solving experience Strong statistical techniques background (Minitab or equivalent)
Strong GD&T knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills (including data interpretation and reporting)
Fluent with MS Office products and computer skills (including file management and organization)
Quality system / process discipline is a must
Extensive organizational and multi-tasking skills
Six Sigma experience desired
