Top Career Solutions has teamed with a leading distribution company to hire a Sr. Human Resources Generalist. This person will mainly provide advice and support to current employees, while assisting in other areas including recruiting.
Duties:
· Provide advice, support, training, and direction to employees regarding employee issues and company policies
· Ensure employees are treated in a fair and equitable manner while making certain the company is protected against liability
· Conduct HR orientation sesstions and new employee on-boarding
· Assist with recruitment initiatives through various business units
· Perform employee corrective action and terminations when required
· Maintain FMLA and new hire paperwork
· Train and mentor new HR staff
Requirements:
· 5-7 years experience as Human Resources Generalist
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Experience working with Microsoft Office
