The qualified candidate must possess experience within the temporary POP display industry working with corrugated and folding paperboard. Graphics and packaging design is a plus. You must have a familiarity with Artios CAD and work well in a team environment. Additional knowledge of Solidworks, 3D Studio Max, Illustrator, and Photoshop is beneficial.
Duties include:
- Sketching and computer rendering
- Conceptualizing designs
- Creating estimating specifications
- Drawing up assembly instructions
- Mocking-up displays
- Working on the cutting table
- Working with sales and customers to create functional and appealing designs
Basic qualifications:
- Technical degree; Bachelor’s degree in a packaging field preferred
- Prior work experience as a Structural Designer.
- Artios CAD experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with TOPS or CAPS
- Experience in operating sample table cutting devices (i.e Kongsberg table)
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of working in a team environment
