Job Description:
Humera Professional Staffing is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist for our client located in St. Paul. Our client is committed to the design and manufacture of the highest quality surgical instrumentation. This is a direct hire opportunity!
  • Sell single-use surgical supply products directly to the end user customer from the corporate office to achieve company sales quotas
  • Make sales calls via telephone to end users in order to sell products
  • Place cold calls to hospital and surgery center personnel, by telephone, in order to solicit sales
  • Explain products and prices and answer questions from customers in order to maintain and solicit sales
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements
  • Email, call, or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts
  • Work with sales specialists, regional managers, and distributor reps as needed taking prospect information and working leads to convert to sales
  • Prepare and send product samples to customers as needed
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Maintain and manage inside sales customer database
  • Obtain prospect and customer information such as name, address, purchases, and reactions of prospects and enter into sales contact database
  • Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as internet, telephone directories, direct mailings, and lists purchases from other organizations to add to sales customer database
  • Document all sales call correspondence and sales opportunities via sales customer database
  • Perform marketing duties as related to inside sales of surgical supply products
  • Promote sales campaigns and follow marketing plan guidelines in order to meet sales goals for surgical supply products
  • Attend sales and trade meetings as required
  • Prepare sales packets as necessary for tradeshows
  • Track sales resulting from tradeshow leads
  • Perform other sales and marketing duties as assigned

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • High school graduate required. 4 year college degree with emphasis in business and or marketing preferred
  • 3 or more years of direct sales experience with at least 1 year of inside telephone sales experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred
  • Customer database experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully and confidently
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in a proactive, creative, and timely fashion
  • Ability to continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
