Job Description:
Humera has an exciting opportunity for a Mid Level Financial Analyst for our company located in Eden Prairie! This is a direct hire opportunity!
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts for various operating departments, and provide monthly accounting, analysis and reporting
  • Partner with business representatives to assist with management of their expense budgets as well as their capital requests
  • Control and administration of capital authorization (RFE) process
  • Analytical review of capital requests including cash flow analysis and NPV/ROI calculation
  • Make recommendations as needed regarding the effective utilization of the division's capital resources
  • Coordinate annual capital budget and quarterly capital forecast for the division
  • Prepare monthly journal entries for US transactions
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts resolving all variances timely
  • Manage fixed asset accounting including
    • Monthly preparation of the fixed asset roll-forward
    • Preparation of Annual Fixed Asset Audit Workpapers
    • Annual Depreciation Budget and Forecast
  • Prepare annual tax filings for personal property and real estate taxes
  • Manage the note and non-compete payment process related to business acquisitions
  • Assist in the identification, development and implementation of process improvement initiatives
  • Perform other special projects / duties as assigned

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of accounting experience, including public accounting experience
  • Proven accounting skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to prioritize towards meeting deadlines
  • Experience using Lawson General Ledger Software a plus
  • CPA designation preferred
