Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Surgical Care Assistant will be responsible for transporting patients, stocking supplies and surgical scrubs, assisting nurses as needed, clean and remaking surgical carts. The position will require you to be on your feet about 75% of the time.
Qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent required. Six months experience in a health care setting preferred. Current CPR certification (American Heart BLS for Healthcare Providers) required. Demonstrates at the time of employment and every two years thereafter, competency in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
