Top Career Solutions has teamed with a leading technicial design firm in the surrounding Duluth, MN area to hire a Civil CAD Drafter. This candidate will be responsible for generating 2D and 3D drawings using CAD based on clients guidelines.
Responsibilities
· Uses CAD to provide support to Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, & diagrams.
· Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
· Understanding of land development processes
· Generate in AutoCAD 3D drawings used for fabrication of mechanical systems.
· Work in team environment to generate coordination drawings.
Qualifications
· Proficient in AutoCAD.
· A minimum of a 2 year technical degree
· 2+ years of drafting experience
· Civil engineering knowledge
