Description
The CMA/LPN at our Broadway Family Medicine Clinic performs delegated medical functions under the direction of a physician or RN in the delivery of care for all assigned patient populations. The CMA/LPN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure and practice guidelines. This position will prepare exam rooms for patient visits and restock supplies as needed, adhere to infection control policies/procedures for exam room and instrument/equipment cleaning, room patients and gather data for patient assessments, document care in the medical record, and other duties as assigned.
In order to be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES). Must be certified as a Medical Assistant or be able to obtain certification within one year of hire OR
- Possess a valid MN LPN License
- Be a team player, flexible, organized, and possess excellent customer service skills
Preferred:
- X-Ray certification
